Genesys Industries Acquires Premier Manufacturer of Aerospace Interior Hardware Products
Seattle, WA / USWIRE / December 30, 2022 / Genesys Industries announced today that the company has acquired 100% of Avia Marine Company (AMC) for cash at closing. Genesys expects the acquisition to be accretive to its earnings within 3 months of closing.
Seattle based Avia Marine Company (AMC) was founded in 1960 and is a leading manufacturer of electro-mechanical components and assemblies for the commercial aerospace sector. AMC has an established product line leaning mainly towards commercial aircraft interior hardware. The company is a direct buy OEM with PMA approval for the majority of its product line. The company products are currently installed on several programs and supports programs for Boeing 707, 727, 737, 747, 757, 767, 777 and many legacy systems such as MD80, MD11. The company products are also embedded in AIRBUS platforms. All electrical and mechanical assemblies are currently manufactured from the Seattle facility. AMC boasts customers from 1960 to current and as a sole source manufacturer and continues supporting its multi-decade customer relationships.
